Open from April 1st to November 30th, the recreational area boasts of 5,749 acres of beautiful North Dakota scenery. The Badlands can be seen by those adventurous enough to canoe along Little Missouri River’s 274 miles.
The Maah Daah Hey Trail, a well know 120 mile long trail grants access to campers, hikers, cyclists and horseback riders alike. Corrals are also available for individuals who want to bring their horse for a pleasure ride.

Located 2 1/2 miles south of Medora on Gravel Road, follow the signs to the area.
