Established in 1925 by North Dakota Representative J.J. Doyle, the quaint park inhabits a peninsula next to Green Lake. The city of Wishek leases Doyle Memorial, and although one of the smallest state parks, it offers a multitude of entertaining activities.
Its close proximity to the water allows for many fun hours spent fishing, boating on the lake. For those who love aquatic sports, water skiing and wake boarding are popular summer activities at Green Lake. The park also boasts of modern campsites, picnic shelters and a playground for children.
Directions
From Wishek, take N.D. Highway 13 east 2 miles to Paved County Road, then continue 5 miles south and you'll see the entrance.
