Tickets are available through the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation (see contact information below.)

Pitchfork Fondue
The Pitchfork Fondue is a unique western experience, held nightly at 6:30 p.m. between June and September. Served at the Tjaden Terrace, which is adjacent to the Burning Hills Amphitheatre, you will enjoy this unique western meal as you watch the sun set over the North Dakota horizon. Rib-eye steak is fondued on a pitchfork and served to you with baked potatoes, baked beans, cole slaw, fresh fruits and vegetables, toast, brownies, lemonade, water and coffee. As you enjoy your dinner, you will hear the melodies from the nearby Medora Musical. Costs for the dinner range from $12.00 to $22.50, depending on your steak choice. Reservations are available through the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation (see contact information below.)

Horseback Riding
North Dakota is famous for its cowboys and western themes, and while you are in Medora, you can experience riding in the west firsthand! The Medora Riding Stables have trained horses and will take you on guided trails through Butte Canyon and Paintbrush Canyon. Riders of any skill level are welcome, but riders under six years old are not allowed. Trail rides are offered from Memorial Day to Labor Day, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. Rates are approximately $17.00 an hour for the rides.
