Though born in Hazen, a small community located in western North Dakota, I've lived in the Jamestown area since 1961 and consider it home. While attending Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, I earned my BA in physical education and biology. Several years later I earned a Masters Degree in composite science at North Dakota State University. I participated in football and track while at Concordia and looked forward to becoming a high school teacher and athletic coach.

After 23 years as a teacher and coach in Jamestown and the surrounding area, I decided to become a Realtor and have been in the real estate business for nearly 25 years in Jamestown. I have earned the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Graduate of the Realtor's Institute (GRI) designations.

My wife teaches high school German and my two daughters, who both live within a days drive, are grown and have blessed us with 5 beautiful grandchildren. I volunteer in Jamestown and donate time to several community organizations such as the YMCA and United Way.

I stress the importance of ethics in my daily practice and believe in honesty and loyalty to my clients and customers. I understand the meaning of being a Realtor and my clients and customers know that they can rely on my knowledge and experience to assist them with their real estate needs.
