Frontier Fort provides a large campsite and RV park, over 70 RV sites, for outdoor lovers to come and experience Jamestown’s picturesque beauty. The RV sites have full hookups and there is a bar and grill located within the area for those who don’t want to try their luck at outdoor cooking.
The fort also houses a Wildlife Museum with American Indian displays and historical documentation about the local and regional plains and agriculture. The museum also features many taxidermy exhibits and a gift shop so visitors can pick up souvenirs. Open all year, with the museum open daily from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m., the Frontier Fort and Wildlife Museum proves a must see on anyone’s list.
