Buchholtz Park
Near the Jamestown Reservoir, Buchholtz park offers nature lovers charming scenery and a great place to enjoy a friendly gathering or an athletic workout. Children can enjoy the playground or practice their T-ball or baseball skills on the diamond. There are picnic tables and grills for a nice day, and shelters if the weather becomes temperamental. The park also has basketball courts.
Directions
From I-94, take the exit for 14th street (94). Continue north and follow it around until it turns into 10th street. After going about 9 blocks take a right onto 1st avenue heading north. Continue on until 1st avenue ends at 8th st NW. Take a right and head 4 blocks until you intersect with 5th avenue. Take a left and follow the road as it veers to the right. Take a left onto 8th avenue and continue for about 5 blocks until you come to 18th St where the park should be on your right.
